WHEN ARTS TAKES OVER
When Arts Takes Over.
Lagos state Nigeria, is going to experience a climatic atmosphere of literally jazzed events during the Lagos Book and Arts Festival (LABAF) which kicks off on Monday, 6th November 2017 and runs till sunday 12th November 2017.
The lagos book and arts festival 2017 is the 19th edition of the event with the theme: "Eruptions: global fractures and common humanity".It boasts of fun filled literary activities such as a book trek, discussions around political affairs and the books of the festival, parties to celebrate literary icons who turned 70 and 60:proffesor Niyi Osundare, Oloyede amongst others.
The author of the newly released satiric collection of poems "we the people", Ololade Ajayi will also be reading from her book at the Book trek event to raise awareness for the festival.
This will be held at the garden of the British Council on Monday 6th november by 5:00pm..
It promises to be a refreshing as well as educative time.
