PAYBACK IS A BEE “Payback is a bee, a bee that stings you just before it spews you a warm spray of honey” This quote was contained in a statement released by the victims of the Nigeria civil war who recently sniffed a portion of the Federal Government allotted grievance settlement sum of N88 Billion naira. It's safe to say that the Nigeria civil war was won in 2017, by the Biafra Mine victims of the war who had approached the Ecowas Community Court of Justice in 2012. PAYBACK IS A BEE: ECOWAS COURT SITTING The ruling which was held on Monday, 24 th of October 2017, granted an out of court settlement for both the Federal Government and the victims of the Civil War. The magnanimity of the Federal Government of Nigeria is awe inspiring, to say the least, for her citizens had to approach the Ecowas court in order to plead for the removal of remnants of war instruments stockpiled in 11 states of the South-East, South-South and part of the North-Central.
