On the 19 th of July 2020, a Super Star yet unknown to majority of the world entered into the Big Brother Naija’s house.   Her megawatt smile won majority of hearts over while her genuine ‘I just want to do me” attitude caused hundreds of thousands of hearts to fall to fall in love with her. From thereon it was love at hindsight for many and she has been aptly named Star Girl since inception. NIGERIA: CHOOSING SANITY OVER LOYALTY

    FACT: Nigeria is a satiric country. Satire, being the use of humor or irony to describe otherwise serious situations in an unserious manner, i.e using mockery to expose stupidity. This hypothesis is evidenced in recent events, from the Nigerian president’s refusal to acknowledge the House of representative’s invitation to his reiterating the government’s disgust in the CNN and BBC’S reportage of the #EndSARS Crisis. The state governors also jumped on the satire train, with a former governor and current minister, Mr.   Raji Fashola leading the investigators’ pack to the governors paying sympathetic visits to the Lagos state governor . The irony of this visit is not lost on one. Condolence messages flowing from all corners of the 36 states to victims (police and businesses affected) but conveniently missing the real victims of the crisis : the patriotic protesters nationwide who lost their lives and also the innocent ones arrested with no one to bail them out of their penury in real

  #EndSARS: Forging Ahead with Bloody Inks A protester (Ololade Ajayi) during the End SARS protest END SARS The   #EndSARS Movement allegedly kick started in Ughelli, Delta state on Tuesday 6 th of October   2020 after a viral video showed SARS Operatives pushing off a man from his vehicle. Then on Thursday 8 th of October 2020, protests kicked off in Lagos at Alausa and other parts of the city. And then the Federal Capital Territory subsequently joined in. One notable thing about the protest was the shared level of torture the protesters went through at the hands of the Nigeria security as well as allegedly state sponsored thugs.
